I've hunted it several times. The site does hold silver and the possibility of other pre-American finds. Father Marquette exited Lake Michigan at Marquette Park at the mouth of the Calumet river. The river mouth is gone but you can see where it was.

I would like to hit some of the Parks in Chicago. Solo is sometimes uncomfortable but 6 or 7 guys in Pullman park can sure have a good time. I would love to get something going in the fall. Have dine a lot of research and all we need to do now is take the ride.
