I hunted memorial park last Sunday 7.44 clad one silver ring, can't wait for this Sunday
I would be interested. I know of a few spots around Riverdale, IL. I bought a used White's Spectrum XLT over the summer. I've found plenty of clad coins, tokens and knick-knacks. No silver yet! But I have found a couple of wheat pennies, one 1953 and one 1926. These were at a home built in 1918 in Riverdale.
Out where I live, there's a school built in the 1910's, rebuilt after a fire and a gym added on in the 1920's. It;s still in operation. I've found plenty of clad coins there but no silver! There's a lot of trash out there, mainly aluminum pop cans, pull tabs and bottle caps! The Will Co. Fairgrounds are nearby where I live, but I do believe it will be "trash city" in there. I just started metal detecting last July. I'm willing to listen to helpful advice on using this detector-especially in getting the silver coins! I don't believe that I'm too far off as I have gotten plenty of "clad." I'd like to get a smaller coil for the trashy areas, but I also would like to get a "pay-off" from what I have on hand first(who wouldn't!).
