Looking for information- The German Club

I would like to know if anyone knew the location of a place called the German Club. I know it was in sumava and had seen pictures of it. Several times I have drove into sumava looking for it. The pictures show it was very popular in it's time, people would get of the train from Chicago and spend the weekends there.
Also Iam looking for information about a place called Brownie's. It was a dance hall, gambling and drinking house, besides other things. It was very popular also in it's time.
