- I'm a newbie to Metal Detecting. I live in Marion, IN. I am married with two teenage boys. Picked up a Pioneer 202 a few weeks ago on a whim at the local pawn shop, and luckily it seems to work well. I'm very green at this. Reading lots (Internet Sites & books) on MD. I've been out maybe a dozen times so far, have found a few coins (nothing big) and lots of pull tabs & junk.
