I picked up my hunting partner when he appeared as a student in one of the classes on metaldetecting I put on for the Merrillville Adult Education department; there's a session each Spring and Fall.
Tom Nowestnick lives in the Lottaville area of Merrillville. We participate in WCHRRA: the Will County(Illinois) Research and Recovery Association. They have a meeting in Joliet once a month and the club has two "hunts" together every month.

About Me:: I am a returning coinhunter. I just moved to nw Indiana(and lost my detector!!). I am about to buy a new(or used) detector. I am thinking about a Bounty Hunter Time Ranger 0r pioneer 505. Any thoughts? I live in Crown Point and have found alot of old churches around here that I might give a shot. I also do some prospecting....anything around here?
