- I've got 3 machines, all Garrett:
GTA350, GTI2500, and an Infinium P.I. detector for water.
I've also got the outstanding, alas no longer available, Periscope Pinpointer. I've been at this hobby maybe 8 years or so.
My finds are numerous (of course) but modest.
I joined WCHRRA(Will Co. Historical Research & Recovery Association in Joliet, Il) a year ago and like the meetings and hunts we have.
It looks like YOUR organization is all on-line -- Right? There's value in folks getting together face-to-face. Metaldetecting is extremely complicated & much can be learned talking with and hunting with others.

Yes Mike this club is all online, I have it because there is no club in this part of Indiana! plus with no dues or money coming in work scedules and distance that some of our members live we don't have meetings or org. hunts! But if you have an interest to hunt with a group just post it on the forum and interested members will reply and something can be setup!!!
