Howdy fellas!

Woke up early and met a couple guys for the first time i know from an Indiana coyote hunting board and did some steelhead fishing.

Was a little nervous meeting semi strangers for the first time but they turned out to be real nice guys.

We all got skunked and caught nothing!

Was pretty chilly with that north wind but it was kinda fun, regardless.

What does a steelhead looks like? What kind of bait did you use and what part did you go to? I am not a fisher man but would like to try it sometime. At least you got out for a while. better luck next time.

That is a Steelhead and i catch them on flyfishing flies. You can catch them in most of the creeks around here.

We went to Burns Harbor IND on the little calumet river at the same spot in that picture.
