Hit the back yard again. All three finds were at 8 to nine inches deep. The hook has an outside barb. I know of one lure that has such a barb but this hook was found deep and the eye broke off when I tried to clean it up a little. I can't imagine anyone using this size hook around here except for large catfish in the White River which is near here. The Hot wheels has no dates on the bottom so can't tell how old they are. Possibly 1968.

Hey Ron how are you doing? The hook is an interesting find!!!! Your Hotwheels are from 1977-78 series! The moving van is missing the very rear set of wheels and the earth as not been kind to the box, the old Ford pickup truck with motorcycles in the back is in better condition!!! Hotwheels are fun to find, the last one I found was a 1968! it was a redline car, Ford GT IV in red.

Yeah, those hotwheels are cool to find. I used to find them alot with my ace250. I found a 67 convertable corvette. To bad the wheels were missing. If it would have been in great shape it would be worth about 50 bucks. Ron, what part of Indiana are you in? TMAN...

This is the third Hot Wheels I have found in my back yard. They always ring up as a quarter.

Tman, I live in Chesterfield IN. About 50 miles northeast of Indianapolis very near to Anderson IN. Been here about 2 years. Lived in Dayton Ohio for about 46 years before that. Where in Texas do you live. I spent about five years in San Antonio at Randolph AFB. Loved it there.

I live in a small town called Shelbyville now. I grew up in the Houston area on the east side near Baytown. I have found memories of San Antonio but they arent for a family type thread like this LOL. TMAN...
