Went "Walking" through the park yesterday.......

Just got my Sovereign GT and decided to take it for a test spin in a local park. It was my first hunt since last fall. First signal was a nice Medal and the second signal was a sweet Walking Liberty half dollar (my first!!) also found about four or five pulltabs, aluminum can top, a couple of zincolns and a clad dime. Not bad for an hour long hunt.....huh? Funny thing is, the coins and medal were no more than 2-3 inches deep. When the machine sounded off, I knew I had something good because the Sovereign, when detecting silver, will sound off with the most beauiful song.

The ole Sovie is already beginning to pay for itself. Oh... and I will deftinatly be going back to that park.

Thanks for looking everyone, Bottlebum
